Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! In seminary we watched this video and I just had to share it:

May we all remember the true meaning of Christmas and remember our Savior.

Somebody has a birthday...

Happy birthday Mother dearest!

Why I love my mother
You keep me on the right track
You let me know it is okay to cry
You make me laugh
You made me who I am today
You give me hugs and kisses
You give me courage to do anything
Every day is brighter when you are in it
Your kissing lessons
Your cheers at the baseball game
You always say you love me more (Even though I love you more than that)
Your amazing songs (Somebody has a birthday I wonder who? Somebody has a birthday, I think it's you!)
I can lean on you and you hold me up
The choice that you and dad made to be married in the temple so that we will be together forever
Mom  I love you more than words can express and I hope I can show you that every day.

26 on the 26th

Could you rewind the clock 24 hours? That would just be stupendous
My dear sister Maggie is 26!
I look up to her in so many ways, and I love everything about her.
I love spending time with her and Super-Sister-Sleepovers at her house.
She listens to all my stupid boy stories and doesn't get mad when I tell her the same story twice.
I love when she squeals if she is laughing really hard.
I love when we always end up tickling her when we are on the bed, even though it may not be her birthday.
I love my sister more than words can say, and I hope she knows that.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all! This is one of my favorite holidays because it makes me think about how I am so thankful to my Heavenly Father fo all that I have been given.
I am thankful for:
My family
My friends
My home
Heating
Plumbing (Where would we be without it?)
My Savior
A Heavenly Father who loves me
The Prophet
My bishop
My leaders
Food
Clothes
Shoes
Music
Education
My Sisters who are always there to listen
My Mom who is always good for a hug and who can always make me laugh with her funny voices
My Dad who works so hard every day to keep a roof over my head
My Brother who watches over me and is an example to me in every way
The Scriptures
Joseph Smith who endured so much persecution so that I can be a member of The Church today
The pioneers that traveled across the plains
Books
I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for everything that he has given me

16.....

I'm 16! I am so excited, just in case you couldn't tell.
I remember a year and a half ago I wasn't sure if I would be able to share this day with my family. Every day I am so thankful to my Heavenly Father for his mercies. Because of his gracious hand I get to be here with my family today.
I love being able to tell my family that now I can date. I'm pretty excited about it! However, not everyone in my household feels the same way. My mother is still in denial. But I'm happy!

New to the Blogosphere!

Yep that's right I started a BLOG! After seeing so many wonderful blogs, talking about it for a while, and trying to decide on a name, I DID IT! The name of this blog is (obviously) Carebear on Cloud Nine. This is the story behind the title: One of my many nicknames is Carebear. Then, once after a very exciting day of babysitting, my sister Melanie and I came up with the game Carebear in the Clouds. It is a very exciting game, really. It is exactly like Ghost in the Graveyard but less scary because it is a Carebear and isn't played in the dark. So that is the story behind this title.
